Guest links and access

When to use this

  • A guest says the link does not work.
  • You want to know why a guide stopped opening.

Steps

  1. Each booking has its own guest link. Tap Share guest link on Bookings or on the property’s booking list (your phone’s share menu on mobile; copy to clipboard on desktop).
  2. When you share from Spanish or French admin, the link includes ?lang= so guests and message previews see the right language.
  3. Shared links can show a preview with your property name and the Staysy slogan before the guest opens the guide.
  4. If the code is wrong or the link was typed badly, the guest sees a simple “access denied” page.
  5. If the stay ended or you revoked the booking, the guest sees a “stay ended” style message.
  6. Two active bookings on the same property cannot overlap dates. Same-day checkout and next check-in on the same calendar day is allowed.
  7. If the guest saved the guide on their phone, an old copy can appear offline until they go online again.
